Scholarship Fundraising Auction
Ends at 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 27! Any Items without bids by then will be forwarded to our Live Lunchtime Auction on Saturday, June 28, 1:00-2:00.

Unless otherwise specified in the description, all items won during the past week's auction will be available for pick up at the Saturday, June 28 Live Auction at Wolf Camp (click for directions). RSVP email required, or call 360-799-1997. The schedule for the day on Saturday includes:

10:00 AM - WOLF Foundation Board Meeting to grant 2008 Max Davis Scholarships for Earth Skills Education. If you would like to attend, just become a general member of the WOLF Foundation as described at the top of the WOLF Foundation home page.

1:00 PM - Live Lunchtime Auction

2:00 PM - Three Amongst the Wolves presentation by world-renown adventurist Helen Thayer, also author of Polar Dream and Walking the Gobi. We consider this the pinnacle event of our year, and believe us when we tell you that you will be absolutely grateful, profoundly moved, and totally delighted if you attend! Sustinance and refreshments provided, with donations accepted for Helen's world-wide youth education program, the Adventure Classroom.

To bid, just send us an email with the highest amount you would be willing to donate for any/all items you like, and we will ensure that you receive your item(s) for just $1 greater than any other highest offers if you best theirs, or for the minimum bid listed if you are the only bidder. We will provide verification of bids if requested. Please scroll down to view the items.

If you can't make it on Saturday, then your last chance to pick up your item without incurring the $10 shipping and handling fee (described in next paragraph) is the next day, Sunday, June 29, 2008, during the 10:00-5:00, Wolf Camp Open House & Work-A-Thon. Come visit camp and/or collect pledges to raise funds for your camp expeirence at the Work-A-Thon if you like. RSVP email required, and to request pledge forms.

If you cannot make it out to camp over the weekend of June 28-29, please add $10 for shipping and handling, and we will ship you your item within one week after the auction closes. Items are neither returnable nor refundable.

This Gift Certificate was donated for auction by Dr. Judy Chiasson, WOLF Foundation board member, licensed acupuncturist, and doctor of oriental medicine. The certificate, valued at $95, is good for one initial Acupuncture Evaluation and Treatment or an initial Chinese Herbal Consultation (including writing up a prescription specific to you, and not including cost of herbs). Dr. Chiasson's office is located in Bellingham, Washington; her clinical specialty is treatment of acute and chronic pain. The gift certificate expires in September of 2008.

Knife from master knife-craftsman Mike Helms, who lives in Snohomish County, Washington state. Mike has designed and made your knife on a patch knife pattern from the early nineteenth century. It is hafted in burl maple or gunstock-grade American walnut. Mike's fully functional and useful knives have been highly sought after, and would make a wonderful addition to any collection.

This new fixed-blade knife from Elk Ridge has a stainless steel blade and comes in a nice pine case. Eagles are featured in the box, and on both sides of the blade and handle of the knife.

This gorgeous bracelet was hand-beaded by WOLF Foundation Board Member Mary Murphy. The colors of the beads are brown, yellow, amber, gold, copper, and ivory. The bracelet is about 8 inches long, and will fit a smaller (rather than a larger) wrist.

This hand-carved wooden rhinoceros is very realistic. The wood has a beautiful grain, and it's very heavy for its size. It measures about 9 inches long by 3 inches wide by 4 inches tall. There is one flaw, one rear hoof has been chipped; please see the picture. When displayed on a shelf, the damage does not detract from the simple beauty of this work of art.

These hand-made indigenous style baskets are intricately designed from twigs and cordage. The larger basket has a slightly rounded bottom and is an irregular 17 inches across and 8 inches high, while the smaller basket has a very flat bottom and is an irregular 13 inches across and 5 inches high. There are minor mildew markings primarily on the insides of both, but they are in remarkably good condition for the age they appear to be.

These vintage pink ceramic vases are a perfect match. They measure approximately 8 inches high, 8 inches at the widest point, and 4 inches deep. They are in excellent condition with no scratches, cracks, or chips. The Japanese scene with egrets, mountains, trees, and flowers has been applied over the glaze and has gold accents.
